Benedictine College - Psychology Assistant Professor

The Department of Psychological Sciences at Benedictine College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level to begin August 1, 2020. Minimal requirements are a Ph.D. or ABD in clinical or counseling psychology and ability to teach the following courses: General Psychology, Introduction to Counseling, Abnormal Psychology, Health Psychology, Tests and Measurement, and a research seminar. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to teaching excellence and to engaging undergraduate students in research.

Benedictine College, which has a full-time undergraduate enrollment of approximately 1800 students, is a mission-centered academic community.  Its mission as a Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts, and residential college is the education of men and women within a community of faith and scholarship.  Benedictine College provides a liberal arts education through academic programs based on a core of studies in the arts and sciences.
